Greyhound Racing API
Greyhound race form, career stats, results and predictions as JSON, from the same API as horse racing. Form is free, analysis is on Pro, and live odds and results as races settle are on Premium.
Greyhound Racing Data on Every Endpoint
Add race_code=greyhounds to the requests you would make for a horse race. Same parameters, same response shapes.
Race Form & Career Stats
Every runner's box, trainer, last-5 and last-20 form strings, and career strike rates overall and by track, distance and condition, plus its record from every box it has started from.
Race form docs →Greyhound Results
Finishing positions, with margins in metres where published, for one race or a whole meeting in a single call. Scratched dogs stay in the response, flagged rather than dropped.
Racing results API →Win & Place Predictions
Machine-learning win and place probabilities for every dog in the race, with win chances summing to about 1 across the race.
Predictions API →Greyhound Speed Maps
Each dog's running style, early speed index and likely settling position, built from its place at the first call, first-sectional rank and early-run notes over its last 20 starts.
Speed map docs →Box Bias & Trainer Stats
Win and place rates by box at every venue, scoped to a distance or range, plus trainer strike rates over a rolling window you choose.
Track bias docs →Live Greyhound Odds
Win and place prices per bookmaker wherever the covered books are pricing the race, with opening, high and low prices and recent moves, plus results as races settle.
Odds API →One Parameter Switches Codes
Pass a date, track and race number with race_code=greyhounds and get every dog in the race back. Call /v1/form/meetings first to see which greyhound meetings are running on a date.
- Runner number, name and starting box
- Trainer, age, sex, sire and dam
- Last-5 and last-20 form strings on every tier
- Career stats overall and by track, distance and condition
- Each dog's record from every box it has started from
- Speed map, class profile and form badges on Pro
Greyhounds have trainers rather than jockeys, so connection statistics come from the trainer stats endpoint; jockey stats cover gallops and harness.
Ask an AI Assistant About the Dogs
Not writing code? Add FormFav to ChatGPT or Claude, sign in once, and ask about greyhound races in plain English. The free plan covers meetings, form and career stats; Pro adds results, predictions, speed maps and box bias. Questions like these:
- “Which dogs at tonight's meeting have the best record at this track and distance?”
- “Who has won from the inside boxes at this venue over the last few months?”
- “Rank the dogs in race 4 by early speed, and tell me who is likely to lead.”
